A resident reported that his 50-year-old car had broken down on Route 87 shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 and was pushed into a neighbor’s driveway for the time being.
It was not blocking ingress or egress, but the owner wanted police to be aware in case the neighbor called wondering what an orange 1970 Ford Bronco was doing on his property.
Complaints (general): Route 87 and Falls Road
A caller reported around 9:15 a.m. on Sept. 18 that a flagger directing traffic for a tree company was going to cause an accident.
Alarm drop: Old Kinsman Road
Responding to a burglar alarm activation at a residential garage shortly before 9 a.m. on Sept. 21, police arrived to find multiple vehicles on the scene — and a homeowner working on his garage door.
Trespassing: Roundwood Road, Crabtree Lane
A caller reported shortly before 8 p.m. on Sept. 15 reported that a young family was walking through the Daisy Hill development, after having been advised by police earlier that it is private property.
Based on the description provided by the caller, police were looking for a child wearing a pink shirt and carrying a cell phone.
